Mark A. Hermundstad concentrates his practice on water rights, environmental, local government, and real estate matters. He helps ranchers, businesses, local government entities, and individual landowners adjudicate and protect their water rights, and represents clients regarding various environmental matters. In addition, he maintains a general civil practice, offering services such as advising clients in their general business operations, drafting contracts, collecting debts, and assisting clients in real estate transactions and issues. He has given numerous presentations on water law, debt collection and governmental law to various community and business organizations.

Mark is a member of the Colorado Water Congress and belongs to the Colorado, Mesa County, and American Bar Associations and the Utah State Bar. Mark has served as a member of the board of directors of Mesa Developmental Services. Mark was on the board of directors and served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority. He also serves on the various committees for the First United Methodist Church, and has served on the board of the Mesa County Bar Association Pro Bono Project and the Executive Council of the Colorado Bar Association. Mark is admitted to practice in Colorado and Utah, before the U.S. District Courts for Colorado and Utah, and before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mark received his law degree with honors from the University of Colorado in 1980, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1977.
