Our attorneys serve as general counsel to both new and established businesses, medical groups, other professional service organizations, and not-for-profit organizations. We regularly help clients face such challenges as:

Business Organization

Our attorneys advise clients on the choice of a business entity and help organize the corporation, partnership, limited liability company or other entity selected. Other services include structuring and negotiating business mergers, acquisitions and divisions, and sales and purchases of businesses, business assets or corporate stock.

Business Operations

Williams, Turner & Holmes, P.C.'s attorneys frequently help clients negotiate and draft business contracts and forms, structure financing arrangements, protect intellectual property, and comply with environmental regulations.

Construction

Our firm represents a number of construction and construction-related entities involved in highway, commercial and residential construction projects as both prime contractors and subcontractors. We also represent design professionals, construction project owners and suppliers to the construction industry. Our firm is involved in the negotiation, drafting and enforcement of construction contracts from the perspective of these various participants in the construction process.

Contract Negotiation, Drafting, and Enforcement

We assist our clients in negotiating, drafting and enforcing contracts as requested and recovering amounts due them. The firm regularly represents clients in civil litigation, including construction, mechanics' liens and real estate disputes and arbitration. We collect debts ranging from large commercial loans and contract obligations to consumer debts. Our attorneys draw on substantial knowledge of the bankruptcy laws and are skilled at protecting the rights of a creditor when a debtor files for bankruptcy protection.

All of the attorneys have extensive experience in representing business clients. Susan M. Corle and Kathleen Lyon focus heavily in this area.
